Landing on New Season’s Hopes
During Covid-19 time
What will it be a moment of hope?
In time of darkness and sorrow
Body pains and short breath along
Social distancing on vacant streets
Parks are closed as small child whispers
Fourteen days on earth the longest hours
In full lockdown we all remembered
The suffering brings us together
In sunlight we recall courage
Brightest days are yet to come
Stronger and further warriors’ wings
Extending wishes in doves of hope
Each victory of life we all seek
Snowflakes land on mountain peek
Spread chances of love and strength
Flowers of courage shower on earth
Trees of dreams raise up dark nights
Never give up and never have been
In trust and faith with changes to make
This memory we will surely keep
We are all in this together
Virtual solitude fights coldness
Keep facing upwards to the sun
Grass will grow and birds shall sing
Meditative answers shall be seek
Never too late .. Never too far
Despite loss life goes on in peace
For hope of “a normal” restart
Shadows are left much behind
Nights precede new day of hope
As the sky will shine at dawn
Like no weapon we have fought
Renewed faith in rain of hope
No need to fear as fear will fade
Morning glows to path of healing
Deep from the heart we sing
New season comes with nature in us
